Perloff Hall

Perloff Hall is located in front of the architecture department at UCLA. The current site is sadly underutilized and in disrepair. Tasked with the charge to redesign the site, the project is about creating three spate zones, those being study, social, and transit/gathering. To achieve this the design employs a series of elevated green walls and water features to divide and facilitate the zones. The study zone is separated and has higher green walls which created a quit zone for work. While the social zone has a lower green wall for open conversations and meetings. The center of the site acts both as a transit and gathering space for outdoor classes, displays of student work, and school gatherings.
